The purpose of the Shenandoah Valley Gay and Lesbian Association is to create a safe, affirming, and fun environment where members are empowered to reach their full human potential.

SVGLA’s Goals

• To gather and communicate important community information.
• To collaborate with allies and inclusive community organizations.
• To organize events within the greater Valley area for social and educational networking with LGBT people.

SVGLA was founded in 1995.  We are a 501(c7) non-profit membership  organization.
